Dive Operators in Thailand
There are top-notch dive centers in both the
Andaman Sea and the
Gulf of Thailand, with number of PADI Five Star centers in the country. PADI is the main certification agency, closely followed by NAUI; there is also a BSAC branch and a IANTD center, on Koh Phuket.
Entry-level courses though to instructor programmes and specialties like cave diving and underwater photography are widely available.
Most of the larger better-established dive operators maintain their equipment to high standards, with a good selection of sizes. BCDs, masks, fins and regulator and pressure consoles are obtainable everywhere, however, wetsuits, diving computers and underwater cameras are available for hire.
